Nicole Ryan

Nicole Ryan, Vice President, is a seasoned public affairs leader with nearly 15 years of political communications, media relations, crisis response, and content development experience. She is passionate about the intersection of public relations and political advocacy and strives to help clients reach their policy goals with robust public affairs campaigns. Nicole has secured coverage in outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, Politico, Fox News and CNN.

Before joining the Curley team, Nicole served as the Director of Public Affairs at the National Apartment Association, where she created the public affairs division and expanded the media program to generate eight figures in annual earned media value. Prior to that she worked at the National Rifle Association, where she served as a spokeswoman focused on policy issues and the association’s 2016 election work. Her passion for political communications started in college when she interned for the California GOP and worked on gubernatorial, Senate and congressional campaigns.

A California native, Nicole is an Alumna of the University of California, Davis with a bachelor’s degree in political science, public service and English. Nicole’s favorite place in Washington, D.C. is Capitol Hill, an iconic symbol of U.S. democracy and where she was married!
