Julie Crimmins
Julie Crimmins, Senior Vice President & Director of Client Services, is a skilled client advisor and corporate communications strategist with deep experience in helping companies establish thought leadership, advocate for policy priorities, drive brand awareness, promote brand purpose and mitigate emerging issues.
Julie serves on the Curley senior leadership team and is responsible for partnering with Curley clients to develop communications strategies and leading Curley teams to deliver high-quality work that drives results. She is passionate about developing smart, targeted communications programs that maximize clients’ investments in PR, and about building agency teams that create growth for clients and team members alike.
Before joining Curley Company, Julie spent nearly a decade at Ketchum, a global communications consultancy, where she held several management roles including as a leadership team member for the public and corporate affairs and technology practices. Julie led successful six- and seven-figure, multi-year communications programs with companies from startups and nonprofits to Fortune 50 companies. Her experience spans multiple industries, with a special focus in technology, healthcare and agriculture. Prior to joining Ketchum, Julie worked for several boutique PR agencies and nonprofits supporting corporate communications strategy development and execution.
Julie is an alumna of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication. She completed her master’s degree in integrated marketing communications at Georgetown University, as well as a business essentials certificate from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan Flagler Business School.
Julie’s favorite place in Washington is Eastern Market, where she loves to peruse the farmers market and craft stalls before grabbing a bite to eat with her family and two rescue dogs.
