Sarah Franklin, Associate Account Manager, uses her writing and content development skills to convey Curley clients’ unique points of view to audiences of various backgrounds, motives and interests.
Before joining Curley, Sarah spent two years teaching English at a bilingual secondary school in Madrid, Spain. While in Madrid, Sarah integrated policy issues and current events into English language lessons to engage students and spark a love of learning beyond the classroom. She also coached her school’s English Debate Team, guiding eleven Spanish teenagers through regional public policy debates conducted entirely in English.
Prior to her move to Spain, Sarah managed social media and communications for a newly launched small business in her hometown. She also has experience working as an advocacy intern at Signal Group DC, a writing center assistant on Semester at Sea’s MV World Odyssey, and a resource development intern at the International Rescue Committee in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Sarah graduated with high distinction from the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy.
Her favorite place in DC is the Tidal Basin, where she can take a deep breath among the cherry blossom trees and enjoy peaceful moments by the water.
