Joia La Roche

Joia La Roche, Creative Manager, is passionate about design and how it amplifies the message of any business, organization or cause. She combines her skills in graphics with her experience in policy and advocacy to create high-impact and eye-catching work.

At Curley Company, Joia leads the creative department and ensures that all the projects are completed with attention to Curley’s high expectations for intentionally excellent client service. Her work enhances the communications and messaging strategy with designs that are fresh, memorable, and an extension of the organization’s brand identity and voice.

Prior to Curley, Joia worked for a variety of high-profile political organizations and candidates, as well as several non-profits including the Urban Land Institute and National Retail Federation. While working as a graphic designer for Mothership Strategies, Joia honed her experience with cutting edge email fundraising, high-impact grassroots advocacy, influencer campaigns and targeted digital advertising.

Joia graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2015 and returned to her hometown of Washington, D.C., where she developed her creative expertise by designing high-volume content for fast-paced political campaigns during the 2016 election cycle.

Joia’s favorite place in Washington is Union Market, where she loves getting food from multiple stands with friends and enjoying the outdoor seating.
