Director/Senior Account Supervisor

We are looking for a talented Director/Senior Account Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is smart, enthusiastic, curious, and willing to take risks. She/he/they will have the skills needed to manage and actively steward several Curley Company client relationships and teams, including creating and implementing integrated strategic communications plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and understanding of how to design and implement corporate reputation, integrated marketing and strategic communications campaigns
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to grow a team by way of motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, and most importantly, leading by example
  • Provide leadership and support in growing existing accounts
  • Support and pursue new business opportunities, to include playing an active role in pitches and crafting pitch and proposal materials; contribute to new business strategy
  • Build, maintain and grow relationships with senior client contacts and executives, and provide account management.
  • Experience generating both quick-turn creative solutions as well as longer term programming, demonstrating agility and flexibility in your approach.
  • Lead or support account management efforts including budgeting, implementation, evaluation, staffing and strategic planning
  • Manage client expectations, to include developing, implementing and tracking tangible measurements in line with account objectives and ROI goals
  • Anticipate and proactively addresses client/team needs and challenges quickly and adeptly
  • Possess and foster excellent presentation, writing and technical assistance skills
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how to lead a profitable business by effective management of clients and teams
  • Serves as a trusted senior team member to all members of staff

Qualifications – Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of communications experience and managing client relationships in an agency environment
  • Strong understanding of how to communicate with teams and work from both client and agency sides
  • Track record of leading or supporting profitable programs that have advanced client business goals
  • Superb people manager and have experience successfully managing resources and budgets as well as helping win new business
  • Entrepreneurial and professional with the confidence necessary to manage a team
  • Demonstrated record of supporting account growth and new business opportunities
  • Success in understanding and leading development and implementation of communication programs with measurable results
