Account Supervisor

We are looking for a talented Account Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is smart, enthusiastic, curious and willing to take risks. She/he/they will have the skills needed to create compelling written, visual and digital content, augment earned and digital media capabilities, as well as manage and actively steward several Curley Company client relationships.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport and cultivate relationships with clients through sound counsel, creative problem solving, idea generation, and flawless execution
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients; anticipate and address client needs and challenges; plan and develop integrated programs that exceed client objectives
  • Understand print and broadcast media and where social media intersects and translate trends and metrics for clients
  • Research, write, edit and present high-level materials, including communications plans, POV’s, Q&A’s, press materials and digital and social content
  • Identify approaches to fostering relationships with various stakeholders including policymakers, influencers and third-party validators
  • Manage financials, ensuring programs and projects are profitable
  • Analyze and report on client program metrics and shift program direction as needed
  • Identify new opportunities with clients and build incremental business
  • Lead, manage, and motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback; identify beneficial training and development opportunities
  • Develop and manage timelines and weekly action plans to ensure all client deadlines are met
  • Promote a positive team culture
  • Stay up to date on industry and client trends and recommend how Curley can apply those trends to augment our client work

Qualifications: 

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in public affairs, advocacy, public relations, digital interactive and/or communications required, agency and prior supervisory experience desired
  • Experience in developing and implementing social strategies to achieve client objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in digital media and earned media
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
