Account Supervisor

We are looking for a talented Account Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is smart, enthusiastic, curious, and willing to take risks. She/he/they will have the skills needed to create compelling written, content, manage integrated teams and workflows and actively steward several Curley Company client relationships.



  • Provide strategic guidance to clients; anticipate and address client needs and challenges; plan and develop integrated programs that exceed client objectives
  • Build rapport and cultivate relationships with clients through sound counsel, creative problem solving, idea generation and flawless execution
  • Understand print and broadcast media and where social media intersects and translate trends and metrics for clients
  • Research, write, edit, and present high-level materials, including communications plans, POV’s, Q&A’s, press materials and digital and social content
  • Identify approaches to fostering relationships with various stakeholders including policymakers, influencers and third-party validators
  • Manage financials, ensuring programs and projects are profitable
  • Analyze and report on client program metrics and shift program direction as needed
  • Identify new opportunities with clients and build incremental business
  • Lead, manage and motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback; identify beneficial training and development opportunities
  • Develop and manage timelines and weekly action plans to ensure all client deadlines are met
  • Stay up to date on industry and client trends and recommend how Curley can apply those trends to augment our client work
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Curley’s values

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years strategic communications experience
  • Ability to think and act strategically
  • Experience in digital media and earned media
  • Experience and interest in public affairs, politics, government and/or advocacy
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
