Maria Treacy, Associate Vice President, is an expert in managing multi-faceted public relations projects and special events for corporations, non-profit organizations and trade associations looking to strengthen their reputation and raise brand awareness. At Curley Company, Maria has managed projects for a variety of clients, including Samsung, L’Oréal USA, Google, the Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT), the Alliance for Health Reform, The McClatchy Company and the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility (FAAR).
Maria produces special events that strategically align with clients’ business objectives and provide maximum brand visibility to target audiences. She combines her public relations experience with her detail-oriented project management skills to create events that build 3rd party relationships and enable clients to engage with key stakeholders within their industry. Maria directs concept development, manages intricate budgets, coordinates with event partners, and oversees onsite execution of events ranging from 20 to 950 attendees. In addition, Maria coordinates marketing content and collateral creation for Curley Company.
Prior to joining Curley Company, Maria served as the Event Manager for the European School of Economics Foundation (ESEF), a non-profit organization that provides scholarships for underprivileged students. While at ESEF, Maria managed sponsor relationships, coordinated fundraising auctions, and directed general event logistics for the fifth annual Family Business Dynasties Gala.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Hamilton College. She is originally from Glen Rock, NJ and now resides in Washington, D.C.
